Stella McCartney Perfume – Elegant Scents for the Modern Woman

When Vaquera finally debuts its first fragrance, Classique Perdu, in collaboration with Comme des Garçons Parfums, it feels like opening an old diary—one filled with 90s perfume ads, nostalgia, and everyday memory. The scent tells a story of rediscovery, blending the familiar and the forgotten with the signature Vaquera edge.

Created by perfumer Suzy Le Helley, the composition carries a strange beauty aromatic green notes of lavandin, tomato leaf, and a whiff of permanent marker accord that recalls my childhood moments in a car with the air conditioning running. It feels airy, touched with metallic shimmer, like freshly dried hair near a summer fountain.

The fragrance structure deepens with blackcurrant, clary sage, iris, and solar rose, layered over styrax resin, sandalwood, suede, and evernyl. The balance of chemical sweetness and natural depth brings that lost classic energy back to life—Classique Perdu truly lives up to its name.

Visually, the bottle tells its own tale—packed in packing peanuts, a transparent box, and marked with clearance stickers, celebrating imperfection as art. Christian Astuguevieille, creative director of Comme des Garçons Parfums, and Adrian Joffe, CEO of Comme des Garçons International, confirmed the release for September 30 in Paris, London, and Dover Street Market stores worldwide, with distribution expanding in October, priced at $85 for 30ml—a classic rediscovered for the modern world.
