Dior Ramadan 2025 Collection: Luxury Redefined for Eid

Dior presented a breathtaking Fall-Winter 2025-2026 show, transforming the catwalk into a surreal stage. Directed by Robert Wilson, the spectacle blended fashion and theatre, featuring a prehistoric bird soaring over glaciers, while fireballs erupted from the ground in perfect rhythm.

Inspired by Virginia Woolf’s Orlando, Maria Grazia Chiuri crafted a three-part collection that redefined the exception to the rule. Echoing the legacy of Gianfranco Ferré and John Galliano, the designs celebrated the female artist, proving once again that in Paris fashion, history and innovation go hand in hand.

Robert Wilson’s set

For the fall-winter 2025-2026 collection, Maria Grazia Chiuri took a bold approach at the French fashion house, crafting a visionary debut inspired by theater. She collaborated with award-winning director Bob Wilson, who masterfully used sound, light, and space to transform the stage.

Drawing from Virginia Woolf’s 1928 novel Orlando, which he adapted and directed in 1993, Wilson created a dreamlike set with a mannequin swing, a prehistoric bird, and an iceberg. Models moved across a surreal catwalk, surrounded by rocks, craters, and the emergence of something truly magical.

A dialogue across centuries and genres

A dialogue across centuries and genres

Maria Grazia Chiuri presents a collection that connects the past and future, honoring Dior while bringing fresh inspiration. She reinterpreted the codes of her predecessors, blending breathtaking cuts with sensual variations that reflect her unique vision of femininity.

Pieces like the J’adore Dior T-shirt, delicate lingerie-inspired details, and dramatic pleats nod to John Galliano, while structured collars and ruffs recall the mythical character Orlando from the novel. The print-rich designs and refined silhouettes make each timeless piece an evocative tribute to Gianfranco Ferré’s work.

A collection of contrasts

Maria Grazia Chiuri explores how opposites attract by creating a collection of contrasts that redefine femininity. She juxtaposes soft sensuality with strict rigour, blending transparency in bustier tops with structured coats and masculine jackets with emphasised shoulders.

Inspired by men’s wardrobe from previous centuries, the designs mix biker-style capri pants with light-as-air mini skirts and felt shirts with bow-tied knee-high socks. This season, Dior plays with tone, balancing bold desires with timeless elegance through boots and brogues.
